contour x POW Austria – contour is proud Partner of Protect Our Winters (POW) Austria since 2017.

‚Make your voice count‘ is one of the underpinning messages of the POW movement and one which led to the creation of the Hot Planet Cool Athletes (HPCA) in-school climate assembly programme. Its aim is to educate and inspire the next generation to tackle climate change. Athletes from the POW Riders’ Alliance visit around 10 schools per year to present a 60-minute multi-media assembly on why climate action is so important for our future. The Science Alliance helps with content so that school children can see the effects of climate change, examples of what’s happening, and how we can all make a difference. In order to want to protect the environment, young students should first understand how special our outdoors are, and what’s at stake.
