That&#8217;s where they come into their own with the movable plastic hood, solid front prongs and serrated side rails. A special feature is the soft and flexible end of the snowshoe, which increases walking comfort, protects the joints and allows the foot to roll naturally. In large amounts of fresh snow, plastic snowshoes lack the necessary buoyancy.<\/p>\n<p>Aluminum frame models are built a little wider and the lightweight aluminum frame is covered with a tear-resistant canopy. Additional axes of rotation under the binding give the snowshoe a cushioning effect and very good buoyancy in deep snow.
