Our ski touring adapters for children can be adjusted to the right sole length in just a few simple steps and inserted into the alpine bindings. After entering with the ski boots, a comfortable ascent with climbing skins is possible. The foldable climbing aid makes steep ascents easier. Simply stash in your backpack on the descent. The adapter is suitable for children from about 6 to 12 years.

Important: Always remove the startUp ski touring adapters from the bindings for the descent!

You can find the video here.

  • Adjust to the alpine binding: read or measure the sole length on the ski boot. On the underside of the startUp, lift the splint with your finger and move the jaws so that the length specification closest to that of the ski boot is visible in the small window. When releasing the tab, make sure that it clicks securely into place so that the jaws can no longer move.
  • Adjust to the ski boot: Lift the upper part (binding plate) and press together the small clamps on the middle bar. The two segments can now be tilted up and moved. Look for the arrow marker on top for the length specification and snap into place at the length specification closest to that of the ski boot.
In addition, the height of the front bar can be adjusted. Pull the slider out to the side, move the bracket up or down one level and fix it securely again with the slider.
  • Insert the startUp ski touring adapter into the alpine binding like a ski boot. Then enter with the ski boot into the heel bar and close the front bar. The ski boot should be securely fixed in the adapter binding.
  • The foldable climbing aid makes steep ascents easier.

Before the descent, release the front bar, get out of the startUp ski touring adapter and then remove the adapter from the alpine binding.
